In 1977, Croix-lez-Rouveroy, Estinnes-au-Mont, Estinnes-au-Val, Fauroeulx, Haulchin, Peissant, Rouveroy, Vellereille-les-Brayeux and Vellereille-le-Sec merged into the new municipality of Estinnes.
